Sarjana Yadav passed the UPSC examination of the year 2019 with hard work and dedication and fulfilled her dream of becoming an IAS. she passed the UPSC exam in the third attempt. 

However, in the earlier two attempts, her preparation was not done properly. But in the third attempt, she worked hard. she even left her job to prepare for the exam. In the interview given to Delhi Knowledge Track, Sarjna spoke openly about the strategy to pass the exam.

It is not necessary to accept coaching

Sarjana says that coaching is the choice of every individual. Whether she wants to join coaching or not. If you feel the need for coaching, then you must join. However, she prepared and achieved success without coaching.

Select limited books

Sarjana says that you should read limited books instead of too many books. Also, keep reading those books again and again. She further says that you will get information, videos, and tutorials on Google topics that will not leave a single doubt in your mind. There is a lot of material on the Internet.

Make notes of these things

Sarjana says that do not make notes of things that have already been given in the short form. However, you can make notes of subjects in which things are given in paragraphs or comprehensively. This will help you a lot in revising. Do not spend all your time making notes.

Sarjana says that giving too many test series does not help. Decide according to your requirement. If everything is being covered in one or two test series, then there is no need to join more test series. You can also consult monthly magazines for current affairs. This will prove to be helpful.
