1) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched the Services e-Health Assistance and Tele-consultation (SeHAT) portal, which will provide tele-medicine services to serving military personnel, veterans and their families.

2) The Indian government approved the opening of a new consulate in Addu City of the Maldives this year to augment the country’s diplomatic presence in the Indian Ocean archipelago.
A meeting of the Union cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cleared the proposal for opening the first such consulate in the Maldives, which has an important place in the government’s “Neighbourhood First” policy.
3) As masks have proven to be an essential part of our lives while we combat Covid-19, a student from Kerala has designed an innovative gadget that eases communication, especially for frontline workers and medical staff who wear layers of protective gear. Kevin Jacob, a first-year B.Tech student from Thrissur Government Engineering College, invented a mask that supports a mic and speaker.

4) Arjan Singh Bhullar has become the first Indian fighter to win the ONE Heavyweight World Title at the top-level Mixed Martial Arts Championship event in Singapore.
5) Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company (SPARC) has informed that Dilip Shanghvi has resigned as Managing Director of the company.
Shanghvi will, however, continue to be associated with the company’s board in his capacity as a non-executive director and chairman.
6) The Centre has appointed Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra, senior-most Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court, as the Acting Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from June 1, 2021. The notification dated May 24 has been issued pursuant to upcoming retirement of Chief Justice PR Ramachandra Menon on May 31.
7) The Sports Ministry has dedicated a total of 143 Khelo India Centres across seven states with a total budget estimate of Rs 14.30 crore.
These centers will be entrusted with one sports discipline each.
The states include Maharashtra, Mizoram, Goa, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Manipur.

8) India's first drones to deliver covid-19 vaccines are expected to take off in Telangana in the next two to three weeks, an executive working on a pilot project said, ferrying a total of 10,000 vials from a central location to primary health centres nearby.

9) Supreme Court of India's E-Committee on Sunday released a manual for its top citizen-centric service-free "e-Courts Services Mobile app" in 14 languages.
The app is available in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarathi, Kannada, Khasi, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
The "e-Courts Services Mobile app" aimed to benefit litigants, citizens, lawyers, law firms, police, government agencies and other institutional litigants has so far crossed 57 lakh downloads.
