1) Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar launched a portal "Madhukranti" to bring transparency by introducing traceability system in sourcing of honey.
Tomar also launched Honey Corner - specially designed space in Nafed’s stores dedicated to sale of honey.
Madhukranti portal, an initiative of National Bee Board (NBB, is being developed for online registration to achieve traceability source of Honey and other beehive products on a digital platform.

2) The 1993 batch IAS officer from Maharashtra cadre Sanjeev Kumar has been appointed as the chairman of Airports Authority of India (AAI) in the rank and pay of additional secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation.

3) NASA's Mars Odyssey spacecraft launched 20 years ago on April 7, has made it the oldest spacecraft still working at the Red Planet.
The orbiter, which takes its name from Arthur C. Clarke's classic sci-fi novel "2001: A Space Odyssey", was sent to map the composition of the Martian surface in 2021 .

5) Government launched the All-India Survey of Migrant Workers and All-India Quarterly Establishment-based Employment Survey.

6) Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi participated in a virtual event with the President of Seychelles, H.E. Wavel Ramkalawan.

The virtual event was organized for the joint e-inauguration of several development assistance projects funded by India in Seychelles and the handing over of a Fast Patrol Vessel supplied by India for the use of the Seychelles Coast Guard.
